3-D motion pictures in digital cinemas utilizing mandatory glasses for patrons seems like a commodity from yesterday. A burdensome form of entertainment. Not the real thing. Getting headache from it. We Germans call this "new wine pushed through old hoses".
But not "3-D without glasses" -- auto stereoscopy -- seems to be the future: a new frontier to approach lies in Motion Holography, as Nature reports, while Der Spiegel covers this story in German.
